Statewide Firearm License Course (for Security Officers) |
This is a 28 hour course required by the State of Florida to obtain an Armed Security Officer License (G-License). This course covers Florida State Law, the basics of pistol shooting including shooting techniques, handgun and ammunition selection, and clearing handgun stoppages. |

AR-15/M-4 Assault Rifle Course |
This is a 10 hour course that teaches the basic knowledge, skills and attitude necessary for the safe use of an AR-15/M-4 rifle. This course covers rules for safe gun handling, AR-15/M-4 rifle parts and operation, ammunition selection for target, hunting and self-defense, shooting fundamentals, range rules, shooting from the benchrest, prone, sitting, kneeling and standing positions, cleaning the AR-15/M-4 rifle, and continued opportunities for skill development.

National Rifle Association - Personal Protection In The Home Course |
There have been numerous HOME INVASIONS in this area recently. This is an 8 hour (minimum) course that teaches the basic knowledge, skills and attitude essential to the safe and efficient use of a firearm for protection of self and family, and to provide information on the law-abiding individual's right to self-defense. Students will learn basic defensive shooting skills (not target shooting), strategies for home safety, setting up a "safe room", responding to a violent confrontation, firearms and the law, how to choose a handgun for self-defense, and continued opportunities for skill development. Range time will be scenario based.
***Prior firearms training (NRA training, Military, Security, Law Enforcement, Hunter Safety Course, etc.), or a pre-course assessment is a pre-requisite for this course.
If you cannot produce proof of prior firearms training, you must attend a firearms safety orientation and assessment one hour prior to the start of the course. There is no additional charge for the assessment. |

This is a 4 hour non-shooting course that teaches the basic knowledge, skills, and to explain the attitude necessary for the safe handling and storage of firearms and ammunition in the home. This course covers the rules for safe gun handling, primary causes of firearms accidents, firearms parts, how to unload certain action types, ammunition components, cleaning, care, and the benefits of becoming an active participant in the shooting sports. |

National Rifle Association - Refuse To Be A Victim Seminar |
This is a 4 hour seminar designed to teach the basic knowledge, skills and attitude for developing a strategy for one's personal safety. The seminar includes classroom instruction on a variety of crime prevention strategies, from criminal psychology to automobile crimes to cyber crime. Seminars can vary in length and may be modified to suit the needs of a particular audience. This is not a firearms instruction course, and does not include instruction in physical combat self-defense. Seminars teach about common weaknesses that criminals may take advantage of, and teaches a variety of corrective measures that are practical, inexpensive, and easy to follow. Strategies include home security, carjack avoidance techniques, cyber safety, and use of personal safety devices. Advanced Concealed Weapons Course |
This is an advanced course for those who already possess a Concealed Weapons License or have taken a firearms training course and are interested in getting a Concealed Weapons License. This course reviews the legal aspects and responsibility of carrying a concealed weapon, as well as proper drawing from the holster techniques, low-light shooting techniques, holsters and carrying options.
